I’m always looking for inspiring scenery to paint and draw, so what I want to know is what is the most visually captivating scenery you have ever seen? Describe the place as much as possible, link to a picture too if you can too!

The person who describes or shows me the best scenery (in my opinion of course), making sure place name is also mentioned, wins a pencil portrait, and the chosen scenery may well be one of my next paintings! Enter through the comment section of this post.
